Ashnil Samburu Camp:
Ashnil Samburu Camp sits in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve which takes its name from an oasis of crystal clear water at the western end of the reserve. It is separated from Samburu National Reserve by Ewaso Nyiro River and is less hilly and dense yet equally very attractive.
Try the surprising international, oriental and African traditional cuisines. There are other available options in place that can be arranged on request like bubbly bush dinners and breakfast and picnic lunch boxes. Nearby is our modern lounge, with its décor perfectly done to give it an African touch. This is great for business talks or a place to pass time and relax. In the evenings, enjoy the breathtaking sunset after taking a game drive to this truly heavenly place. In the morning start the day with an early morning game drive in the quite serene wilderness.
Joy's Camp Samburu.
An elegant oasis in the arid lands of Samburu; Joy's Camp is built on the site of Joy Adamson's tented home in Shaba National Reserve. The site was also home to Penny the leopard, the heroine of her last book. The camp overlooks a large natural spring where elephant and lion jostle for watering rights with herds of buffalo and the rare desert species of Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe and Grevy's zebra.
Each of the 10 sumptuous tents is uniquely decorated with Boran/Somali cloth design, handmade glass and the vibrant fabrics of the local nomadic tribes creating a chic, sophisticated and stylish camp. Each tent has breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, with its own private veranda - ideal for game viewing as well as relaxing, reading and soaking up the truly wild environs offered by Shaba.
Elephant bedroom Samburu :
Set on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River in Samburu National Reserve surrounded by doum palms and other beautiful indigenous trees and shrubs sits this small and exclusive camp of 12 luxury tents - all furnished in rustic African style while offering all the comforts expected of a luxury Camp (hot & cold running water, electricity and herbal products).
The lounge and dining area offer vibrant safari colours with original oil paintings, soft intimate lighting designed to relax guests returning from an exciting game drive. Huge herds of elephant, prides of lion or the solitary leopard amongst other game are regular visitors around the camp providing excellent game viewing in spectacular scenic background of rugged rolling hills.

Elsas Kopje Lodge -Meru National Park, Kenya.
This is no doubt a luxurious oasis in the wilds of Meru National Park, Elsa's Kopje, named after Elsa the lioness raised by conservation icons George and Joy Adamson and made famous in the film 'Born Free' She was released into the wild here at the Meru National Park.
The word Kopje means 'small hill'. Elsa's Kopje lodge blends into the hillside of Mughwango Hill, site of George Adamson's original camp. Meru is vast with arid, open plains dotted with Doum Palms and Baobab trees and lush vegetation along 13 rivers, like green ribbons, bisecting the Park. The lodge is invisible to the eye as you approach the kopje.

The lodge is built atop raised ground allowing panoramic views of distant Samburu hills to one side and El Ndonyo Keri (Samburu name for Mt. Kenya) on the other.
Location
Samburu Sopa Lodge is situated 325 kms from Nairobi, in the middle of the park, next to the new Oryx airstrip.
It is accessible from the main Isiolo – Moyale road at both Ngare Mara as well as Archers post junctions.

Sentrim Samburus’ location deep inside the reserve guarantees close encounters with samburu’s shier species, including elephant, leopard and Samburu’s famous “Special five” – the rare Reticulated Giraffe, long necked Gerenuk Antelope, Somali Ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, and Majestic Beisa Oryx. Located 345 kms North of Nairobi, the Journey to the camp involves a 50 minutes flight to the Isiolo airstrip followed by a 35 minutes drive through the reserve.

Samburu game Lodge is set in 10 acres of pristine riverine forest on the western bank of the Uaso Nyiro River within the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya at an altitude of 857 meters above sea level.
The Samburu National Reserve, conjoined with the smaller but no less attractive Buffalo Springs Reserve, lies a mere 320 kilometres from Nairobi.
This is true wilderness, and home to varieties of animals and birds rarely seen in other parts of the country. Here are to be found the Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, the Reticulated giraffe and Blue Shanked Somali ostrich.
The sun baked landscape is breathtaking with surrounding mountains shimmering on the horizon as temperatures rise. To the west, the sheer sided slopes of majestic Ol Olokwe Mountain form a perfect back drop to any photograph.Cleaving the two reserves, the Uaso Nyiro River (Brown river in the local language) winds through a mature stands of Newtonia and Sycamore Fig trees, Acacia and Doum Palms, one of the few branching palms to be found anywhere in the world.

Samburu Serena Safari Lodge: Samburu National Reserve
A place of endless skies, dust-red plains and palm-fringed rivers, Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District, whose heat-scorched scrublands extend all the way to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana and beyond. Physically dramatic, the 104 sq kilometre landscape of the Reserve features rocky battlements, craggy scarps, dry river beds and fallen boulders rising out of the thorn scrub against a backdrop of the far-distant hills and the great red table mountain known as Lololokwi. As for wildlife, Samburu provides one of the few sanctuaries in Kenya for the endangered Grevy’s zebra, the rare beisa oryx and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich whilst large herds of elephant roam the gaunt hills during the day before returning to bathe on the banks of the river in the evening.
