Lake Manyara Hotel
Lake Manyara Hotel is situated some 80 miles from Arusha on the western escarpment of the Rift Valley, 4,500 feet above sea level overlooking the glassy Lake Manyara. Each of the 100 rooms has magnificent views of the Rift Valley, and the hotel's facilities include a swimming pool, superb terrace and boutique offering local handicrafts.
Lake Manyara Hotel was the first accommodation at Lake Manyara National Park thus had initial preference in picking the best location, which boasts superb panoramic views of the whole park and the lake.
Rooms:
Lake Manyara Hotel has 100 spacious guestrooms, each of them with a private balcony affording magnificent views over the Lake and the Rift Valley.
Tastefully decorated in authentic African style, the rooms are fully equipped with ensuite bathrooms, shower attachments and bathtub. All beds are provided with mosquito nets over the air vents. A third bed is available on request, as well as limited baby cots. |

Among the 100 rooms, 2 are suites, 3 are communicating rooms – specially designed for families – and 8 are deluxe. Other 72 are twin rooms, and 28 are double rooms (with one double bed).
Wake – up calls can be made on request.
Cuisine:
The restaurant is strategically set in the edge of the escarpment, affording breathtaking views across the Lake. It gets its daily produce fresh from the local farm, and professional chefs prepare delicious international and local recipes, as per the theme night.
The bar is a friendly meeting point where guests can relax with a cocktail in hand and exchange stories of their day’s adventures. It is provided with a superb terrace overlooking Lake Manyara, being a picturesque setting to enjoy the taste of exotic drinks. |
