Tanzania camping
Hello Sylvester:
The safari has fascinated
us. We have enjoyed very much seeing so many wild animals
at liberty.
The hotels have been charming and they were located in
very nice places and with incredible landscapes.
Benson has taken us very well for all the routes to the
parks and has explained very interesting things to us on
the animals. We are very satisfied with his attitude.
You can be sure that we are going to recommend to our
friends and relatives who want to spend a few wonderful
vacations in Kenya.
Thank you for the adventure! >> Silvia and David (Spain).
Dear Sylvester,
The safari was fantastic and highly recommeded. We were
very impressed by our guide -Silver, and how knowledgable he
was, as well as speaking excellent english, highly
professional, and the accomoadation was also excellent.
Thankyou for your assistance,>> Mirain Rhys(Auistralia).
Jambo Sylvester .
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I was away.
Jessica, Jasmin, and I made it back in one piece but a bit
tiered.
When you book a trip on the internet it is quite an
adventure as you never know who you are dealing with. Let me
tell you that this adventure was a pleasant one.
I would like to thank African Servalcat safaris tours and
you Sylvester as we did not encounter any surprises in all
of our stay. We where booked and well looked at in each of
our hotels, lodges and campsites. (Apart from our first stay
in Lake Nakuru camp site that look like a concentration
camp) Everything you had promised was delivered. Meals and
services at the lodges where excellent.
Kenya for us was the best, what we saw was a lot more then
what we had expected, never thought we could be so close to
the animals, the fact that we can go off road and go just a
few feet from the animals is fantastic for taking pictures
and do some incredible sightseeing. We saw lions mating,
ostrich mating, hyenas, vultures, and other predators where
at the rendez-vous numerous giraffes, elephants, Hypos lets
not forget the Zebras and Gnu that we saw in quantities that
surpass what
our eyes could see. Our guide Joshua was the best he is like
a living encyclopedia, you can ask him questions on animals,
birds, flowers, trees, religions, name it you will get an
answer. He is a very good entertainer at night when there is
a fire and a crowed he can tell you stories about safaris
that will make you wonder.Jashua showed us four out five of
the big 5 and they where all at few meters from us.
Tanzania
Our stay was very enjoyable, weather was cold and cloudy but
never the less we saw lots of lions and giraffes, elephants
by the dozen, and most of all on the last day we saw our
fifth specie of the big 5 the leopard. Our guide Nuru was
very compliant he would stop when ever we asked him to and
he would take us anywhere we wanted to go. The fact that you
cannot go off road makes it a bit more difficult to see the
animals up close. The black rhinos where a fair distance
away, the leopard was also far too far to take a decent
picture with a 200 MM lens. Timing is everything but we
still managed to see many species from close at one point we
where surrounded by elephants just a few feet from our
vehicle,
The roads to get from one city to an other are unbelievable
especially on the Kenyan side, but what a way to learn about
different cultures and see what Africa is all about, nature
and animals is one thing, but to see how African people live
is a must for every one.
Again thank you for making our trip one to remember for a
long time.
As mentioned to you in Nairobi I will not hesitate to
recommend African Servalcat to any one looking to do a
Safari.
I will be presenting my photos to a photographic group which
I am a member some time this fall and I will take this
opportunity to see if it is possible to gather a group of 12
to 15 persons to go on a safari. I will be contacting you
for more details when the time comes.

Sylvester,
Thank you for making our honeymoon so
special. All the little extras and upgrades were fantastic
and although our time in Kenya was amazing we will never
forget the hospitality and service in Rwanda and Uganda.
We will not hesitate in booking with you
again when we come to Africa in the future and will
recommend you to everyone .
Thanks again. Best Regards.>> Fiona and Marcel Court(London).
Hi Sylvester!
Yes we are home in the cold and rain! Thank you so much for an
excellently organized safari. We enjoyed every moment of it.
The coast was great and it was fantastic to see Justice again
on our return. He was marvelous - a great guide.
All the best and many thanks again >>Harriet & Mike Joao .(SA).
Dear Sylvester,
We are safely back home after a wonderful
holiday in Kenya and Tanzania.
We couldn't have had a better time or
experienced more.
Most of this is with thanks to you for your
organisation and Joshua and John for being great
guides and company.
Paul and I came looking for your office to
thank you again personally but unfortunately didn't find it.
We now have a lot of photos to go through and
stories to tell.
We have no hesitation to recommend Servalcat
to anyone thinking of going to Kenya.
Thanking you again,>>Gayrth and Paul.(Australia) gayrthsanten@yahoo.com.au
Dear
Sylvester,
We spent an excellent week in Kenya and truly
enjoyed the trip.
In fact, we have nothing really to complain about.
All was well organized, timing was perfect and we
had nothing to worry about throughout the week,
which is good for holidays.
The choice of a private family trip was a good
decision too.
Justus was an excellent guide to us, nice and
friendly while never being intruding. He also proved
to be quite knowledgeable and very respectful of the
environment, which we appreciated (not always the
case with other companies as we could see for
ourselves). Also, he was very safety oriented, an
important aspect for a family trip.
The choice of hotels and lodges proved excellent and
we could see all what we expected and more. So much
wildlife! Take care of it as your national
treasure...
Of course, we still have plenty of images in mind,
and Jambo jambo hakuna matata has become a family
favourite song.
To conclude, really an excellent trip, worth the
money we spent (and that was not our cheapest
destination!).
As I said to Justus, we found about Servalcat
through the Internet (no personal recommendation)
and I decided to go with you based on the response
we got from you and also the clients testimonies
found on your Website. So, I can now confirm that
our initial impression was the right one!
All the best to you and your team as well
Best regards.>>"Donna, Christophe and family, Dubai" frcan@eim.ae
Good
morning Sylvester,
We arrived back home safely but tired.
Please thank Julius for the safari, he did a good
job in managing to let us
see all but the Rhino. We all enjoyed it very much,
even Kevin my son who
was not well during the safari.
As we have now been on safari in Tsavo East/West
twice, the next time we
visit Kenya we will plan to visit the Masai Mara -
probably November 2008.
I have attached a couple of photos, please show them
to Julius.
Thanks again,>>Peter Uren & family(London).
Servalcat/Sylvester:
Some impressions from our trip.
If I do East Africa again I would spend more time in Kenya and
less in Tanzania. The reason for this is that the game parks
in Kenya seem to be better suited for tourism. My 3 favorite
places were Samburu, Masai Mara and Amboseli. At that time of
the year(July and August) I would pass on Lake Manyara and the
Serengeti. I think that you took care of reservations,
selection of Lodges and our needs in an effective and
professional manner. I want to again tell you what a great
time we had and much of that was because of Henry, his
efficency, effectiveness and knowledge. You can use my name
and e-mail address as a reference for potential clients that
may want to know more about you!
Edward Weiss and group.
Thank you, >>Edward Weiss- eawj1@juno.com (USA).
Dear Sylvester,
First of all, was very nice for us to meet you in
Nairobi.
Second, the trip was perfect, we love it, all the
lodges was very beautiful places.Thank you for trust us, we reaaly appreciate your
job, was great. Our guide and driver Justus was very patient with us
and had a great job also.
We are very very happy!

Its Daniel & Kristin Salem here, emailing
you from Australia.
I'm sorry it has taken us this long to
contact you in regards
to our wonderful holiday we had in Kenya.Kristin and I have travelled many places
around the world in the last 6 months,
so you can imagine we have been very busy.It seems so long ago now (October the 1st
2006) when Patrick picked Kristin
and I up from the Airport for our week long
safari to Samburu, lake Nakuru and the
Masai Mara but we enjoyed the time we spent
with Patrick and regard it as the
HIGHLIGHT of our travels around the world.
Firstly i would like you to say a special
Hello to Patrick and can you tell him we
were thinking about him Secondly we would
like to say or list some things about
the Safari
1) We thought the accommodation was very
good, beautiful locations.
All lodges were fantastic, great food, very
friendly people.
The Samburu Lodge was the most beautiful
place we have experienced.
2) We greatly appreciated the professional
attitude and manner of our driver
and tour guide and friend Patrick. He always
gave us extra options for viewing
animals and always put us in a great
location for photographs.
3) We also would like say how safe and
relaxed we felt driving around Kenya with
Patrick.
4) We have enjoyed the knowledge passed on
by Patrick about Kenya, it's people and
customs.
At all times Patrick was happy to answer our
questions
5) Also Kristin and I were very happy about
having a Van all to ourselves. We have seen so many other companies along
our safari that had crammed up to 8 people
into a van
and I'm sure most of them were travelling
with strangers and people with very
different interests.
For example some people might have wanted to
spend more time looking at big cats
while others in the same van wanted to spend
more time looking at birds. We were so happy to have freedom in our
safari with Patrick giving us alternatives
to slightly change our itinerary along the
way.
This sets Servalcat Safaris apart from its
competitors.
To show our appreciation we would like to
send you a CD of the best photographs
we took on our safari with Patrick..
Please feel free to use these photographs on
your website, if there good enough..
Could you please email me your mailing
address so i can send you the CD,
and make sure you say a quick Jambo Jambo
to Patrick and thank him very
much....>>>

P.S. We will recommend SERVALCAT SAFARIS to
all our friends and relatives.
Dear Sylvester and Peter,
First we should tell you that we
enjoyed both of our safaris very
much.
Thanks again for putting them all
together for us and for your speedy
response to all of our e-mails. The
arrangements you made worked well
for us and we appreciate the good
service you gave us.
The Tanzania camping safari was
great - we went to a variety of
places
all of which we found very
interesting and beautiful. Each
place was
special and we were glad we went to
all of them (Lake Manyara, Oldupai
Gorge, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater,
Tarangire.) We were also happy to
have had some time on our own where
we were close to villages that we
could walk to and look around.
Matthias was an excellent driver and
after our first reaction of surprise
and a little fear, we settled back
and enjoyed the ride. Matthias
always seemed to know right where
the
animals were and he was very good at
spotting them long before we saw
them. We also enjoyed our meals very
much - Mossa was a good cook and we
loved eating under the stars at a
little table set with a table cloth
and lantern - the little touches
meant a lot.
The lodge safari in Kenya was also
great - we really enjoyed the
comfort
of the lodges and all three of them
were attractive and had good food.
Patrick was an amazing guide - he
too was an excellent driver and took
us on some memorable 'short cuts'
and he as well just seemed to know
right where the game were. He was
always organized and we always knew
when to be ready and where we were
going next. Patrick talked to us
constantly and told us not only
about the animals but also about
Kenya
and the people and he told us
stories about his experiences as a
guide -
we enjoyed all of his stories very
much and looked forward to them each
day. We appreciated Patrick's not
always following the pack and taking
us off into quieter areas where we
had some very good game viewing and
he still managed to show us the
highlights that were exciting the
other
drivers.
We felt like we were leaving a
friend when we said good-bye to
Patrick.
Thank you for letting us know that
his son Joseph is fine - we were
very
concerned and were hoping for the
best.
After the safaris we went back to
Nairobi and then flew to Morocco for
a
6 day trek in the High Atlas
Mountains. We spent 5 days
altogether in
Marrakech and 2 days in Essaouira.
Our whole trip was for 47 days and
we had a wonderful time. We learned
quite a bit about Africa (Anssi did
quite well speaking Chichewa and
Swahili and people loved that.) We
have many happy memories of Africa
and the African people we met on
this trip will always have a place
in
our hearts.
Thanks again for all your help, it
was a great trip.

Dear Sylvester and Company,
Thank you as well, for putting together an incredible safari
for us. As I look through my pictures, it is hard to believe
that we had the opportunity to see so many beautiful places;
meet so many wonderful people, and witness the behaviors of so
many incredible animals. The pictures will never be able to
convey to others the incredible experience! Henry and David
were remarkable guides. It was so much fun sharing our days
with them. They were like family. We are definitely
recommending your company to anyone considering a safari.
Best regards to everyone and again, thank you for everything.>>>Diann GRUEN- survivormomof2@hotmail.com (USA).
Sylvester,
We have arrived back in Bangkok safe-and-sound. We had a great
time, and I am slowly going through the photos. Here's a photo

drive).(2006).>> Steve (UK)
Dear Sylvester,
Finally I have recuperated from the jet lag and I would like
to let you know how fabulous your service was on our trip.
From the emails which were extremely prompt and informative
and in which you answered every question, to the actual trip
itself,we thank you for the good planning and service.
Everything was arranged very well and there was also
flexibility to do exactly what we wanted.
I have to say that William was an extraordinary guide. Not
only was he extremely knowledgable about the game in the
Samburu area, but he just went out of his way every single
time we asked, to fulfill our wishes to visit Samburu
villages. He made all special arrangements we asked for and
many that stemmed from his own
initiative. He never stinted in the time it took to do all of
the visits and the game drives as well. We really owe a lot to
him for the amount of negotiating and good will he created
between the leaders of the villages and us. I have only
wonderful memories of each visit. William was smiley and
thoughtful and upbeat the whole time. He is a very special
person.
And Justus was very flexible in Nairobi, trying to satisfy all
our wishes about what to visit. Peter was helpful too on that
last day.
So we appreciate all that African Servalcat did and we would
highly recommend your organization to anyone who wants to go
to Kenya. I don't believe other organizations would go out of
their way like you did to personalize the experience and be so
flexible in the arrangements. You impressed me from the very
beginning of our communication to the very end of our trip.
Thanks so much for a memorable time.

I just wanted to send this email to let you know how pleased
we were with the wonderful vacation you hosted for us. In
addition to the excellent selection of parks, sites and
lodges, you chose for us, we were extremely pleased with
Henry's expertise. We all felt we were in good hands with
Henry. We couldn't have had a
better host. He was so patient with our continuous stream of
questions and was always in such good spirits with a wonderful
"Hakuna Matata" attitude.

in August
an AMAZING experience!

Jambo Sylvester.
We arrived back in Lagos safely and on time. We had a
fantastic time in Kenya and Tanzania. The tour was very well
organised and left us with no stress so we could enjoy the
holiday. The accomodation was excellent and there was plenty
of good food to eat. Our driver in Kenya (Joseph) was
particularly good - he knew lots about the animals and was
good at finding them! Kenya and Tanzania are beautiful
countries and the people were very friendly. We would
definately encourage others to visit and perhaps will find the
opportunity to come back ourselves. All in all we had a great
time, and would recommend Servalcat Safaris to our friends and
family. We are looking forward to seeing our photographs.
Thanks for all your help and for a great holiday.>> Laura & Trevor

Jambo Mwendwa! Habari yako?
I am fine. We came back to Istanbul to be snowed in. All the
schools were closed, so we had an extra week of holiday, but
in the cold. I terribly miss kenya already and every time I
show the pictures I want to go back. I really enjoyed my
Kenyan experience. I am more than satisfied with your
companie's services and I have already recommended you to a
friend who is planning on going.
Unfortunately I only had good things to say.
Hope you are all well. And I hope we will stay in touch.
All the best.>> Nathalie Girald &
Galaty Christopher.
Dear Sylvester,
Thank you for arranging a most memorable safari for us. We
enjoyed every minute of it, we saw more than we ever imagined,
Henry was excellent and the lodge was top class too.
Thank you for everything,

Dear Sylvester,
I purchased a safari from African Serval Cat Safaris and I
must say that I was extremely impressed with the services they
provided.
The hotel accommodations were great and so was the food and ,
most importantly, the safari itself was very interesting. It
was my first safari and the only thing I regret was not
booking one earlier. The guides were knowledgeable and the
service was superb.
I was also surprised that I was able to live like a
millionaire for a week and visit the very same
romantic places that I read about in books as a child and saw
in movies so many times, all for a very reasonable price.
I strongly recommend this company and their safaris to anyone
contemplating a visit to Kenya.
Sincerely,>>> David Kessel,
